Carr donates posters for the Pete Hyde Coaches vs. Cancer Holiday Classic

A girls’ basketball tournament hosted by Maine Endwell and Johnson City girls High School Basketball teams raised more than $6,000 for the American Cancer Society.

The 2nd annual Pete Hyde Coaches vs. Cancer Holiday Classic at the Johnson City Middle School benefited the American Cancer Society. We like to think that our posters helped people in the Southern Region of New York fight back against the devastation that cancer causes.

More than 300 players and coaches from Athens, Pa., Binghamton, Chenango Valley, Jamesville-Dewitt, Johnson City, Liverpool, Maine-Endwell, Norwich, Oneonta, Rush-Henrietta, Union Endicott and Vestal took part in 22 games.

The classic honors Pete Hyde, long-time girls’ varsity coach at Maine-Endwell. Coaches vs. Cancer is a partnership between the American Cancer Society and the National Association of Basketball Coaches.

Wendy’s Walk for Kids marches for $33,000

We love kids, so does Wendy’s Old Fashioned Hamburgers. So when they came to us for some help with their Walk for Kids at En-Joie Golf Club during the Dick’s Sporting Goods Open, we were more than happy to oblige.

Signage is important a big, complex event like this. The fundraiser took place during a separate, but related golf tournament. The signs have to be clear and easy to see, yet can’t detract from all the sights of a major golf event.

Think about it: thousands of walkers trying to help The Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption, The Children's Home, A Room to Heal, and the Institute for Child Development at Binghamton University. All taking place while thousands of people are milling about for a PGA Tour Champions Event.

The organizers came to us because our full package of design and printing meant it was easy to coordinate each step of the process. We’re a one-stop shop, even if the fundraisers weren’t stopping.

CATHOLIC CHARITIES OF BROOME COUNTY

ACHIEVE

Good printing lets Achieve focus on priorities

Non-profits understand they have to show value in order to gain support.
That’s value in the services they provide, certainly. But it also means their printed materials need to show the same respect for value.
So when Achieve came to us to print their newsletters, they were looking for more than just a few runs on good stock. Our in-house design team ((LINK TO: http://carrprinting.net/products.php)) created a newsletter that easily directs the eye to the most crucial information in an attractive manner that doesn’t waste space.
That attention to detail – and an on-time delivery -- meant the newsletters could be shipped at a lower cost, allowing Achieve to focus its resources on other critical areas. Like helping the people they serve.

GREAT NECK ART CENTER

Art center needs the full diversity of printed materials

What we liked about the Great Neck Art Center project is that they came to us with a problem, and let us provide the solutions.
They needed materials for a very high-class fundraiser – the kind of event that draws Tony award-winner Kelly O’Hara, Lion King star Sean Bradford, Rent star Adam Kantor, and filmmaker Francis Ford Coppola.
So we ticked off our capabilities:
Brochures, check.
Invitations, check.
Signs,  check.
Table tents on gold and silver paper, check.
10-foot banner, check.
Dimensional printing and die-cutting, check and check.
We can make anything we want, and we did. And the Great Neck Art Center had a more-than-great fundraising gala.
