Carr donates posters for the Pete Hyde Coaches vs. Cancer Holiday Classic

A girls’ basketball tournament hosted by Maine Endwell and Johnson City girls High School Basketball teams raised more than $6,000 for the American Cancer Society.

The 2nd annual Pete Hyde Coaches vs. Cancer Holiday Classic at the Johnson City Middle School benefited the American Cancer Society. We like to think that our posters helped people in the Southern Region of New York fight back against the devastation that cancer causes.

More than 300 players and coaches from Athens, Pa., Binghamton, Chenango Valley, Jamesville-Dewitt, Johnson City, Liverpool, Maine-Endwell, Norwich, Oneonta, Rush-Henrietta, Union Endicott and Vestal took part in 22 games.

The classic honors Pete Hyde, long-time girls’ varsity coach at Maine-Endwell. Coaches vs. Cancer is a partnership between the American Cancer Society and the National Association of Basketball Coaches.
